Have had time to give the sales shortfall some thought. In an altogether bad report that was the most unsettling. Mid point of original sales estimate to mid point of new estimate is $4M. Or about 600 kits not sold.
Their oldest and largest accounts are the major burn centers. Around 40 accounts. Those undoubtedly stockpile several dozen kits since one major incident could use a couple dozen kits. When you need them you need them. Between those and the other 100 original burn center accounts there could easily be 2000+ kits stockpiled in burn centers across the country.
So if half those accounts decided to work out of stockpiles in anticipation of GO it could account for a
5-600 kit shortfall.
How's that for making a shite sandwich a little tastier?
But if true, why didn't JC simply say that in the report?

Hoping the analysts have sharpened their pencils to a fine point for the Q&A period.

I really want this company to suceed. Great product that produces better patient outcomes, shorter hospital stays and better economics for all concerned.
