mount morgan mine and the area gets a bit of a mention.
its worth reading on there original leases ,
there is a lot more gold there( and copper to explored & found), and its all not to far to were the mount morgan plant will go , remember why they suspended mining in the 1st place , and what there choices were after it ? one was build there own plant centrally located to there ipo leases , they got mount morgan project next to work towards that plan , then the paddington mine and will move the plant/mill from there to mount morgan area,
so its not just for the gold at the old mount morgan mine and those lease , im not sure how big there stock pile was in the norton lease but theres is some stockpiled , from when they suspended mining only some ~14 months ago
they were mining stuff at close to 7g/t from the rich veins and played around abit with the metalurgy and got more efficent refining after the 1st pour, but ran into problems with higher arsenic levels in the tailings dam at gympie, there costs were high then with the trucking of ore to gympie , interesting reading
with there own plant in the mount morgan area there is a number of surface ore ready to mined that can be quickly got at be stock piled and processed and can mine out the lower grades they left behind from the selective mining. and work at cracking the metallurgy for more effiecnt refineing. or the norton and old morgan gold tailings
they did buy some of there own equipment there as well remember in qld.
