Yes you make a good point. However on the other hand - I don't think any of those other opportunities have a price tag of near $700m, and $50m separately (to the firm in Melbourne). WHile they would have commerical value of good significance, the JSF is a company maker plain and simple.
But yes other news would shift the share price but not as much as this signing.
Interesting with the SP dropping to 40c. Even though the contract in my opinion is all but signed come end of March, the market is still reacting to it like this stock is a miner with an exploration drill going on. I.e. doubt creaping in about things.
Unless the SP was pushed too high, too quickly? Thats the $60 question I guess!
