"Late last calendar year, SYR commenced sterilisation drilling to define the margins of the orebody. Although,
graphite mineralisation was still encountered well away from the outcropping graphite hills, the grade visually
appeared to decline significantly. BMDD0040 which was drilled about 400m from the hills reported an average
grade of only 4.5% TGC from 0m to 107m (end of hole). Also, sterilisation drilling showed that the depth at
which the graphite mineralisation is first encountered increases significantly away from the hills (>50m depth).
Thus SYR believes that economic graphite mineralisation at Balama will be confined to an area no more than
about 300m from the base of the hills"
