In Jan 2009 shareholders of Continental Capital, CNF (as it was then) approved the acquisition of a 74% interest in South African based Continental Coal Limited (CCL). The 26% balance of the shareholding in CCL Is held by Masawu.
Following the acquisition Continental Capital was renamed Continental Coal and the ASX code was changed to CCC.
