    80% of all drills are dusters....That's the gamble we take. I have been in many oilies that produced dusters and managed to sell at a profit every time, re-the benefits of being in early and WAIT.
    Those that wait for the BIG results, will inevitably pay the BIG prices. Either way until we get the results from the drill bit, IT'S A GAMBLE. It won't be an investment till production is underway? (Texas and TT are already producing)

    Ramp or not you must admit, there is a lot going for RRS?

    ....Which is going to be bigger Puntland, Trinidad, Georgia or Texas?

    Puntland could be potentially bigger than ALL the others put together, yet in the near term Trinidad is probably going to be the biggest earner. BUT, we could could have some spectacular results yet to come out of Texas! Recession or marked crash? Who cares?? RRL- looks set to be one of the best oil plays of the decade....imo
    (sorry I went for a 'P')

    Was looking again at the 'rift' between the Yemen and East Africa. From a geological point of view, it would be quite impossible to say that there is NOT any similarities...look at these survey maps...The conclusion that I come to is quite astonishing....there must be more oil in Somalia/Puntland than possibly the Yemen....Why?...Well, none has been pumped out of Puntland yet, whereas oil extraction over many years must be depleating the Yemeni reserves, somewhat....we have it all to find? THE YEMEN, reputedly has 260billion barrels reserves

    {The Nugaal and Dharoor Blocks are located in the Nugaal and Darin Mesozoic basins in northern Somalia. The Mesozoic basins are interpreted to be extensions of the Marib-Shawba and Sayun-Masila Basins of Yemen. Prior to the opening of the Gulf of Aden in the Oligocene-Miocene, these areas were contiguous and similar sedimentary sequences and structural styles are likely.}

    In all of RRL's projects, particular importance and references to oil seeps is made as an indication of underlying oil/gas reservoirs!

    { Geologically, Trinidad lies on the South American tectonic plate and falls within the Orinoco Fold Belt which is a PROLIFIC OIL PRODUCER in adjacent Venezuela some 14km to the southwest. The area is recognised as a world‐class petroleum province with over 3 billion barrels of oil produced to date and current production in the order of 100,000 bopd.

    The Morne Diablo, South Quarry and Beach Marcelle licences are all within a complex thrust belt, with surface expression known as the Southern Range. The Southern Range, which contains NUMEROUS OIL SEEPS, stretches from west to east forming the south coast of the island. Fluvial‐deltaic sediments, ranging to tidal and wave‐dominated, characterize the shallower producing zones in the Morne Diablo and South Quarry fields....}

    RRL's home page on TT is very informative and makes for good reading:
