Sakari seemed to be passive investors in XAM whereas, PTT may turn out to be something different. They're noted big spenders and I read where they plan to spend some $23 billion over the next five years, mainly through PTT Exploration and Production.
PTT is a State-owned entity however, Mongolia and Thailand have good relations and, IMO, PTT would not have any problems on that front in the event of anything happening of a capital nature.
With a new Government formed, with the seemingly very successful visit by Dai Bingguo (assisting the new boys to understand how things work in this part of the world), with a resolution (temporary perhaps) of the Oyu Tolgoi power supply, possibly with an outbreak of commonsense over Chalco, with some good attendances at and surrounding the Discover Mongolia conference, with some majors kicking the tyres at Sharchuluut, and now with PTT onboard - maybe, just maybe, we won't have to look at 16c again.
Don't quote me on that.
