I don't in any way place MOC in the same category as RHG. For a start, MOC actually has net assets!
Nevertheless, you should always look for a company which has the potential to out-perform in a given environment. I don't see this happening for anyone involved in home lending, ATM.
At best, I think it will putter along...bit up...bit down.
At worst, I see the banks recovering the lion's share of business from the brokers (after all, if the only players left in town are the big banks, because the non-bank lenders have gone out of business - which I do expect), then MOC would need to downsize significantly.
Under this latter scenario, they might survive, but they don't exactly make a stunning investment opportunity, do they?
A takeover? Maybe, but I don't invest my hard-earned based on whether a company might get taken over.
