The usual suspects said Lilac's IX-DLE has far lower recoveries than other DLE flowsheets....and one preposterously said that Lilac IX-DLE's recoveries were less than an existing evaporation pond project!
NOT SO.
Table 2 below outlines the recoveries achievable in various brines - from a high grade salar brine (2200mg/L from Chile) to an ultra low grade brine (70mg/L from the Great Salt Lake in the US). I bet the usual suspects can't show us data outlining better recoveries for such a range of brines using the one process!
