There is no way you can make any such comparisons without knowing the quantity of beads used to produce X Tonnes of Lithium over y period of time. It is a futile argument.
One could say use ten times the amount of beads to make 130,000T of Lithium Carbonate over 10 years....rather than using 1/10th the quantity of beads and change them every year for 10 years.
You can make either bead last 10 years if you cater the throughput of brine and wash cycles to suit. You will just end up making different quantities of Lithium Carbonate.
