I too noticed the chemist warehouse discounts. It seems they used this channel to offload the older stock as a2 platinum 1 and 2 had the larger discounts.(hopefully the $25 million in “provisioned stock”)
i also noticed the federal govt announced an extension of their subsidised air freight charter flights to Asia to help Aussie exporters reduce their freight costs which are still higher than pre-COVID.
another interesting fact is that container costs leaving New Zealand are back to pre- COVID levels and at reduced freight costs.
we are definitely tracking better than 2nd qtr, all we need now is a big drop in the New Zealand dollar against the UsD and Chinese yuan to assist in the sales margin.
