I'm thinking it is more a temporary restriction plus a way of diverting new customers to China label during the inventory rundown. But some kind of new product is certainly a possibility.
BTW did you know they did actually do the Manuka honey product? It was a very limited run in I think 2018, which didn't seem to last long - guess they were testing the market and sales weren't good enough. Also think it was around when Jayne came in and brought a refocus onto the core markets and products. So she probably slashed it.
