Despite what official A2 announcement on this is, the product was discontinued due to VERY pour sales. I encourage you to talk to any Daigou that you may be able to talk to about this product and see what the feedback is. Hardly any sales back in the day so it was the good call to discontinue. On the other hand, if this was selling well, A2 would have done everything they can to keep production going. There is no way they could have discontinued this product for that long if it was selling well. It's common sense.
Also in case you don't remember, this product used to be a lot more expansive, in memory it was somewhere close to $40 per can. It is cheaper now so hopefully gets better sales momentum. The product has a small selling point being Manuka honey addition, which the honey itself is not as popular as it was 3 to 4 years ago, check Comvita share prices and their announcements for last 4 years to understand yourself. A2 will need to spend a lot on marketing on this to get sales going.
