Lavender - not sure where you're getting your Dow futures from, but Bloomberg is showing European markets have opened down about 1%, and Dow futures at -70 or so.


Scottport - the Harvey Norman sale in Toowoomba is part of the sales announced on 15 December, I believe, so this is really old news for Valad, coming out now from Harvey Norman's side.


Virgin is a great company, and they are to be applauded for the amount of information they provide investors. There are so many companies that hide info, it's criminal in my view. The ASX, ASIC and all the regulators don't even know how to give directors a slap on the wrist with a wet tissue, whereas they should be throwing half of them in gaol for misleading the market, insider trading, taking advantage of privileged information, and numerous other problems.
