I agree in principle to your remarks and note that the ABC has dished out it's fair share of cringe worthy attempts of interviewing various pollies.
But at the end of the day they should not be allowed to just show up and just use the media as a free kick on a constant basis as for example Kevin Rudd did for so long.
Kevin would never have taken that interview and Gillard must at least be commended for facing up to a hostile host.
What's must be assured is a consistency of approach to all polititions throughout our whole media industry ... but more importantly in our public funded one.
