it's an idea that I disagree with strongly

I even disagree strongly with the bit in the French constitution that citizens are guaranteed a vote, no matter what - more or less

I believe in freedom to vote for anyone - regardless of gender, sex EVEN age, colour etc etc -

BUT, IMO - it should be a privilege and not a right - meaning that I believe someone should 'qualify' for the privilege -- ie. pass a test of being able to basically comprehend

if they can comprehend - then, fine - votes for all, guaranteed
