Agree with your point about the selling over the last few months and who knew the cause of the delays were due to lack of Vessels.
The industry is booming, and just like with the mining delays with drilling equipment, we are not immune to supply and demand issues.
Lange has made the decision to purchase, while it may hurt short term, it's a long term decision that will create another revenue stream.
Lange hasn't upgraded his forecast earnings which were made before the Ross Deeptech (& Sea-struct - yet to be finalised) acquisitions, so I'm still confident 6 cents is going to be achieved.
I noticed they have made some R&D advances with automation of NEPSYS welding. No doubt increasing the margins of those types of welds which generally cost around the 5-6mil mark and possibly reducing manpower requirements.
Could it be possible they may be looking at marketing something like that as an off the shelf solution bringing in royalties... No diving repair company should leave port without it?? A few years away, but a nice thought that will allow NMS to focus on the larger contracts involving specialised NEPSYS welding and the even BIGGER ongoing IRM contracts with the market giants.
I am in agreement with Pattersons, but believe the price target should be up around the SPP issue price of $0.95.
I will be looking at loading up over the next couple of months on any weakness.
