Now the proof is in the pudding.

BAS has paid OBL $240,000 to settle. Not bad considering its majority of the OBL costs of the Federal Court hearing in October. Suppression of minorities and improper issuing if new shares was no frivalous matter (contradicts continuous disclosure)and the fact that Federal Court judge awarded OBL costs and BAS had to settle is a complete contradiction to the statements of BAS's Non-executive Chairman in the Annual Report of the vexacious nature of the frivalous legal action.

OBL has a good record of never losing legal actions! Take note!

In mid-2008, OBL briefly stopped the merger scheme of AWE & Arc Energy in the Federal Court to allow its claim on the Backreef Area to be heard.

Subsequently in the Supreme Court on 31 October 2008 OBL reached an out of court settlement with Arc Energy and Buru Energy whereby as a result OBL went from 0% to 100% of Backreef Area (although it seems OBL has never claimed a win).

    Now BAS! Another scalp.

Bring on Backreef Oil and their ill-considered try-on in the Derby Block.

OBL management are a class act and are professionals in all their commercial dealings and don't take prisoners.

    Archibald will be another scalp??

    Don't mess with OBL!
