Having a farming background you would appreciate science has allowed for less unpleasant things to do to animals nowadays.
On Landline they featured 3D printing of food and IMO it is a matter of time before stem cells are used to produce meat, natural fibres and animal products without the need to cultivate and slaughter animals.
No doubt the brains at Macquarie will also find some useful and novel ways to make short term profits from their holdings in MSB, but the true believers remain long.
Unfortunately my future posts need to be bleached of colour...
