great post hobo - and good advice. Today's Sunday Telegraph really sums up the state of the housing market ie) its gone nuts - as in - you would have to be insane to be rushing into it right now. So much desperate hype to get people buying... 'pots of gold to be made in the next 10 yrs - all propery owners will be millionaires etc etc. Thing is - they neglect to pose let alone answer the burning question - where is the money going to come from for people to buy these houses at such exhorbitant prices?? They even prattle on about housing values well oustripping wages growth in the next few years.....hello?? what planet did they get their education from?
