and the Germans were very open with reprisals.

There’s a lot of learning about French resistance in the Morvan and also in the area where the White Mouse was.

I haven’t been to the latter.


The scale of what Germans did in WW2 is difficult to comprehend- as is the scale of what the yanks have done in Vietnam and the ME


Stand next to a tank - and think about how you would stop that with a pitchfork or a rifle
