Oh - and, just a point - for Aussies who may visit the Centre in a campervan

you are welcomed to just stay the night in the carpark -

I stayed there for 2 or 3 nights - which gave me the wonderful opportunity to stroll the grounds at day break and the sunset and twilight -

all to myself - a wonderful and memorable experience


that's the Freedom of France - try stopping in carparks in Oz in places like that - Oz isn't quite so friendly


I also stayed in several places in Verdun - including in the car park at the back of the Douaumont Ossuary - just me and the ghosts

they didn't say much though - even though I always say hello to them.

I think everyone likes Aussies here
