Yes...GPT did very well today. Closed at 46c which shows on ETRADE as being down 1.5c.
But after adjusting for the issue of new shares, the stock actually closed UP 11% (the adjusted price is around 41.25c)
This is very good news on many levels. Small shareholders should RUSH to take up their full entitlement or rsik being diluted in my view.
As I shared on weekend, I though the doom and gloom in the media was a distraction from the positives this raising would do for GPT balance sheet. The market seems to think so.
Ditto MQG and BSL in recent days.
As for GMG...a placement does not worry half as much as it did 2 months ago.
