    bit left field, but i was wondering your thinking on why you would go for cash in a volatile environment.
    the liklihood of hyper inflation in the US and Europe due to stimulus money being printed (read created) is very real. With that the aussie will likely fall against the US$ in any turbulence too, so any money you have will be devalued, as the banks won't keep up with inflation.
    to my mind any company with a viable commodity, ie, raw materials, energy, and precious metals ( bullion or shares in producers, is a far safer place, if things really get out of control.
    CCC are producing, they have reserves, they have customers not in developed nations but in developing ones. I reckon now is the time to buy, not bow out..
    only my opinion of course and everyone as their own reasons, but really
    serious inflationary pressures due to instability will result in massive devaluations in many currencies.
