The shallow Isabel deposit contains a current non-JORC
historical resource established in the 1990?s by Kaiser,
(after confirmation of INCO?s work) of 159mt averaging
1.045% Ni and 0.06% Co. The total contained nickel
content of this non-JORC resource is 1.66 million tonnes.
? The grade of the Isabel deposits is comparable to other
major tropical nickel laterite deposits currently in
production or being developed. Subject to further work,
this deposit may give Axiom the option of an initial ?fast
track?, low capex, direct ore shipping operation.
? Average grades are likely to increase with drilling (below
current historical non-JORC resource depths ~6m) into
untested parts of higher grade saprolitic ore...........
It appears to me that the potential of this resource is still immense as only the top 6 metres has been tested......of course I am no expert.......
