Maybe but I think it is more likely that Rio are cutting some bloat and looking to maintain cost leadership.
I also think Rio cost is not as relevant to ARI as the level of total demand and their position relevant to the marginal cost producer. Which if you believe the analysts is around about AGO
If ARI are cheaper then what margin is being made. If ARI are more expensive then yep we've got genuinely serious problems
