Normally in a contracting market companies look at reducing staff and overheads but what do Decmil do? Go and get another CEO....
So by my count from the annual report and website they have:
CEO x2
CFO
Company Secretary
Strategy/BD Exec x2
Exec GM x1
GM x4
That's 12 Execs at say a conservative average of $500K each....$6M!!!!!
I would hate to think how many line managers there are underneath this dozen, and not forgetting they all probably have a PA.
It seems like a very, very top heavy overhead to me and not one akin to the nature of the industry right now.
