We live in a certain kind of reality and in that reality we require conventions of language and understanding, even if when that understanding is explored and it is discovered that we really have no idea what we are talking about.

The concept of, "God" is not religious. It was stollen by religion and turned into an idol of the mind. The real force of god, or endless change and creation are absolutes, they are 100% abstract and beyond human concept, but we need to a language to at least point out that such absolutes are likely to exists outside and beyond human concepts. So some engage in the hypothesis of God and others story-tell themselves into the ignorance of certainty.

The gods of good and evil, relative states, are religious concepts and should never be tangled up with a real search for truth. They were illustrations to teach simple souls. They for the most part are Bronze Age concepts. Religion is a process of moving to a state of surrender. That surrender is to live in the present in a state of empathy, love and kindness and understanding that what has Caused will forever be inaccessible.
