No fireflies, but once a girlfriend and I got stoned when we lived in Darwin and went midnight skinny-dipping in the ocean which was alive with phosphorescence. Every movement sent electric flashes through the water. Fish made lightening. There were countless creatures zooming about and the phosphorescence even stuck to us. It was one of the most profoundly beautiful experiences I've ever had.
