This is excellent news. And the the reason is quyite simply. An active boyant share price encourages other investors and sell - buy spread is diminished and the price rises to realistic levels. But much more inportantly it promotes confidence in the stock. In contrast a fire sale price is negatively infectious and promotes the a lot of negative feeling for the stock.
