I think you should be reassured by the similiarity of two completely independent estimates, it’s not an exact science. The two slightly different estimates display the value of having JVs. They challenge and in this case further reinforce the facts. Esp.
I wouldn’t think too much about the total boe coming 10% lower from STO. What is important to us is the liquids, and a 2C of 158 vs 162 mmbo is neither here nor there at this stage. Very interestingly STO have 107 vs 88 for the 1C. Whilst the 2C is the best indicator of our final result, it will be the 1C that is increasing STO’s confidence in proceeding.
Happy to see differences, as long as they are both great.
