I read that announcement to say that they only adopted an "assumed" gas content for their coal to get that tcf ... seems a little premature having gone to the trouble of JORC assessment of the coal asset itself.
You and I both know there are an awful lot of variables (that could go either way) to be resolved before punters get too excited about the value of coal bed methane.
Mind you, what with uranium, hotrocks and now possibly coal bed methane and underground coal gasification, I can see the car number plates reading "S. A. The Energetic State" lol.
