Hi Mick, You may be more open to trying to interpret the satellite vegetation index images now.
Below I’ve included NDVI images for Sirius and Hercules at the end of September prior to harvest. These particular images are basically a green index. IMO hemp is only growing OK where the images are green. Theses 2 fields are showing massive areas that are not green. I suspect most of the poundage came from Field Draco and Aries. I’m not even sure they bothered with harvesting Orion but I’m sure it would be easy to find out. My point is that these images are available for every few days through the growing season and also in higher resolution. An expert witness should be able to confirm whether CLI knew their yield would be lower than the guidance well before harvest. I also don’t buy that it was a sudden surprise to them that it was so low. Don’t buy it in the slightest.
