    The missing plants might have been gophers eating the plants or gaps from where they pulled males. It sounds like both.
    Whatever it was they knew months ago.

    IMO it was completely impossible to meet their guidance of $40m profit and they have know this for a very long time. Even if the crop had been a cracker, the price of hemp has steadily fallen.
