Terryd, time is a relative notion,as is potential it would seem,do you not see potential in all of NWEs assets?
As per the last NWE quarterly NWE are applying for additional permit area in Wessex.
A FTG survey is being undertaken as a prelude to 2D siesmic being acquired.
Surely theres nothing wrong in having an asset bank, particularly an oil bank with the POO expected to be way more than it is now,in the "relatively near future".

In relation to the experience of NWE for its shale gas asperations in EP-413 of which NWE is the operator,NWEs chairman Mr Michael John Fry is the chairman of Red Fork Energy, they of course have some considerable experience in shalegas.
    Michael John Fry, B.Com, FFSIA
    (Chairman)

Mr Fry has extensive experience in capital markets and corporate treasury management specialising in the identification of commodity, currency and interest rate risk and the implementation of risk management strategies. He is the Chairman of Red Fork Energy Limited and he is also a director of ASX listed companies Liberty Resources Limited and Sunset Energy Limited. Mr Fry holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a past member of the ASX.

If the saying terryd "no mans an island" is sound, surely we can stretch it to apply to the business world as well,I beleive its called a collaborative approach.
AWE has done much of the heavy lifting so far, soon it will be NWEs turn,to what I beleive should we be successful, confirm a second shale gas sequence namely the IRCM.
Please note we already have one shale sequence the Carynginia shale, which NWE have in its last quarterly have given a total potential production figure of 3Tcf "over a very long period".
AWE through its Corybas #1 in 2009 successfully fracced stimulated into an extended production test,if NWE can be successfull at Arrowsmith #2 IMHO that would provide a"proof of concept" for the IRCM and we would have two producable shale sequences.
    So terryd,we have
    TP-15
    EP413
    EP-426
    ORR at puffin
    Wessex
    Quality management

Really terryd, its just a matter of time now.
The two strongest warriors are paitence and time.
