Brokers recomendations are useless - haven't you learned yet ? They very often make them for the stocks they ALREADY have and sitting on losses - so that they hope the price will be pushed up. I saw recommendation to buy eg NOD in Nov 2008 at - as the broker said - ridiculousluy low price of near $0.60c mark. Today they hover around 10c. And examples like that are plenty.
