.........And we have been playing rugby with coombrian heads since the romans taught us how.
Ist international rugby match ( near Aspatria) had 2000 on each side....nominally won by Scotland ( disputed ) and only 14 deaths. Counted as a great success.
Anyway, unfortunate rule changes now dissallows playing with heads.
And Scotland had the Wallabies where we wanted them with 30 seconds to go in RWC quarter final 2015
.....only for a referee clear mistake to allow Wallabies to snatch victory.
Melrose population......about 1000 and six million sheep with very scared expressions.
