1. Quantum dots can absorb and emit light at the visible spectrum thus enhancing colorimetric reactions. Go read how the QD displays work.
2. “Dotz has never presented any pH color indicator based on its Carbon Dotz” - It’s carbon dots and not ‘dotz’ dimwit. Many Carbon dots exhibit pH dependent fluorescence (e.g. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00604-019-4091-4). Why would a company that potentially utilising carbon dots technology for anticounterfeiting purposes present their exact properties?
