I have been calling for BANS on shorting for YEARS now ..its Destructive to Market Holders.
if you want to sell something ...You can Take a PUT option ..Same result as Shorting = less Damage.
PUTS + CALLS creates Less Damage to Markets and Holders ..IF shorting is Banned.
PUTS + Options .. are not Open Selling of real Shares on Market by Non Holders..
but a good Side instrument ..that doesn't Directly influence the SP on the Market...yet Options takes advantage of the Direction.. and is useful for the Gamblers...like Shorters...
PUTS + CALLS are Morally ok ..and are a legitimate instrument for Shorters.
Shorting however is an EVIL practice ..backed by potential Corruption of the Media mindset.
