Thank you. I understood the "theory". However, the question as to whether a double bottom is forming will only be answered if the volume increases enough to push the price past its last resistance....

The question I was asking is the usefulness of technical analysis in a situation like this. Any mug can tell you that if a heap of people start buying the stock tomorrow and continue to do so when the price rises, then the price will go higher....it aint rocket science. The questions is whether the analysis accurately can predict that buyers will suddenly appear in the next few days....just call me sceptical...
