astoria - Yes the substantial holders are likely not to push the share price down but that's not to say its necessarily a bad thing for them. If another major S/H is dumping, they won't prop it up unncessarily if they can get the stock cheaper.

Or who knows, maybe they are shorting the stock (not naked since they hold large amounts) in the hope they can lure other instos out of the woodwork to dump the stock. Then they swoop in and can average down significantly.
