Tomorrow could be considered a double D day. Not only is QBE announcing but also the Fed Reserve Chairwoman Yellen will be addressing Congress on the economy and monetary policy. This could possibly include a strong indication of interest rate tightening.
Let's hope that the long suffering QBE shareholders, like me, get to enjoy a double whammy on the back of both events.
I am also hopeful that with the considerable balance sheet strengthening over the past couple of years, that the board starts to increase the divi payout ratio. Has to be time to start showing some shareholder love !
