I don't see how you can think I see it a done deal though as i clearly state that I thought it "SHOULD still be on".

When companies make forward looking statements, eg: profit guidance and what not, the market reacts accordingly. Price targets and what not are based on forward looking statements and expectations.

Don't see anything wrong with looking at it as a positive forward looking statement that SMA are expected to be part of the deal.
