A friend of mine in the oil and gas industry told me 5 years ago "this project will never see the light of day."
The mere thought of burning coal underground and trying to process the resulting gases was something that he believed environmentalists would never get their heads around no matter what technical feasibility could show or what promised safeguards were planned.

I thought he was being prejudiced and hadn't read the vast amount of reports that NRZ (back then LCK) has produced.

I also thought that the nitrogen fertilizer pivot (no pun intended) was a winner.

Maybe he was right and I was wrong.

However, it's not dead yet.
