    Knuckle, it sounds like you are writing an epilogue for the story of gold...a bit like reconstructing the events leading up to a plane crash.

    My take is that the plane is still flying (ie gold is still a highly valued commodity), but we've hit some severe turbulence, and one engine has flamed out. Doesn't mean the pilots won't recover the plane and make a safe landing.....or crash.

    Let's see how 2013 plays out...
