re: lack of consec up days analyser angry - doesn't take long to come up with the figures mate - just import end of day data out and into a spreadsheet that does the calculations - takes about 30 seconds (after the spreadsheet is setup that is).

I will have a look at OPC and reply on the OPC thread if I think I have anything to say - but don't get too disheartened over scooters without first doing some research on the business - remember that JET (Jetset Travel) was purchased by Heartlink early 2002 (biotech + Travelworld since May 2001) and relisted as JET and that didn't seem a real sexy business and would have dis'heartened' a few of the old Heartlink holders that sold out of a boring old farty stock like JET to get set in the next biotech that had a cure for scrotum baldness or something similar that burned cash. JET is now a 30 bagger from that point. Do the 'potential' financial numbers on the scooter business and other assets and see what you come up with would be my advice.

As far as when NDO will make its next run - I have absolutely no idea about that - just like nobody around here picked the latest run - just when it was an 'easy trade' between 15 and 16.5 it took off and left people stranded out of the stock entirely or with a smaller position than they would have liked perhaps. Trying to time the market can be a dangerous thing especially when you do some numbers on just Galoc estimates when NDO is trading at 15 cents and you come up with a potential 2007/2008 pe ratio of around 3.

    Another few NDO observations...

It is always interesting to watch volume also - even on down days and days where the price closes unchanged (daytraders often only scan for increased volume on up days - smart money knows this short coming). Someone said that there was no substance to the recent move as no volume behind it. Really? LOL!

Well - here are a few interesting stat's on volume for NDO over the medium and short term.

Over nearly the past year and a half the NDO volume has only traded above its 50 day volume simple moving average 34% of the time - or 1 in 3 days.

Since this run started on 18/4 (almost as if someone had a 'deadline' of until Easter to get set???) until last Friday the stock has traded above its 50 day volume average except on last Thursday (a down day) when it was just 3% below the climbing average (still above the average however as at 18/4 as average is obviously climbing through the run). The specific days and percent above/below the 50 day average for each day was as follows during this period...

18/04/2006,167%,Price up day (better to use vwap though)
    19/04/2006,9%,Price Down day
    20/04/2006,14%,Price Unchanged day
    21/04/2006,65%,Price up day
    24/04/2006,448%,Price up day
    26/04/2006,111%,Price up day
    27/04/2006,86%,Price Down day
    28/04/2006,51%,Price up day
    1/05/2006,118%,Price Unchanged day
    2/05/2006,159%,Price up day
    3/05/2006,187%,Price Down day
    4/05/2006,-3%,Price Down day
    5/05/2006,104%,Price up day

Consider the frustrating trading range period of 12/9/2005 to 13/4/2006 or 142 trading days...

During this trading range period only 36 days or 25% of the volume was above the 50 day average and 75% below as the smart money did their job.

Note that also during this period the stock only went up 41 out of 142 days or 29% - how can a short term trader make a buck here - lol!

However of those 41 up days 17 of them or 42% were above the 50 day volume average and considerably so on most of these days.

In fact of the total traded shares being 457,008,036
    in this period...

190,898,734 or 42% were traded on up days in price
115,303,803 or 25% were trade on unchanged price days
150,805,499 or 33% were traded on down days in price

Add to this earlier posts on this thread as to which brokers were net buyers (internationals) and which were net sellers (mainly local) all this makes for interesting consideration perhaps for other stocks in the future that are in trading ranges to determine if it is likely accumulation or distribution happening overall.
