Okay Now I get it it you either had shares in the venture that became PGC. I think that mark simari joined to resolve that business but it did leave a very bad taste and I did research it - I came to the conclusion that it was a huge risk and over promise and I am not even sure how they would deliver.
No doubt MS and his team made a couple of early mistakes - They sold them on and took their medicine. This has not been without challenges and has in effect they tried to make too many acquisitions too quickly and then undid two if I recall. TB was neither here nor there - just an accident - expertise in an area they did not have a product to sell in my opinion.
If you are looking back to before it became a medical company then I cannot help as I agree it was in my opinion a rort - I would also prefer the company not to have had that start but at times you take the vehicle you have.
When I bought in I did meet a few of the people who had survived that era and they were still hurting but this management team didn't create that first venture.
I still hurt over Centro and I only bought in after they had the first hiccup. I am not sure how they got their accounting approved there either. So from my vantage point I know how it feels.
I would recommend that you actually take another look and talk to management you may well make back the money but I have no idea if you can ever but it could be a good investment for you. take a second look many have done that with SHV and have recovered most of what they lost with the Timbercorp crash and impact on SHV.
if you dont want to then good luck. Yes I do understand but PGC is very different from that original company.
