IWheeler, I'm not sure how deep they can weld , i think initially it was around 20metres. They apparently were developing the technology to go deeper. Maybe they can go deep enough now to do those Gulf pipes. But given that Apache has alot of infrastructure there and that NMS are already working with NMS you'd think NMS might get some work there.Also in the Patent announcement they said they had tendered on work in the US Gulf, perhaps with Apache, most likely. So i suppose the outcome of the initial job will be crucial. And i'd imagine it will be fine, I think Clive has high standards and an excellent reputation, so the work performed should be top notch!!! BYE!
