I wonder how the share price will react if GXY announces a 33% to 66% increase in price?

Well I can't see it going down IMO!

Actually, a 66% increase in sales price would not result in a 66% increase in SP. Once we take out the fixed cost of doing business, this would more than likely translate to a 400-500% increase in SP. This is that way highly elastic price sensitivity markets work.
