Real inflation has certainly trickled down to the household level..look at supermarket and real estate prices. Coupled with lack of wage growth then the average joe is feeling his/her money inflated away. CPI doesnt capture this well. Combined with the naked shorts on precious metals, then the result is a depressed(controlled I would say) gold price. This smoke and mirrors trickery wont persist forever though, gold/silver will shine in time, so good to be ready for that day.
